LYMBR | NEWTON, MA

Relaxing &
Stylish Studio

Enjoy customized assisted stretching in 30 or 60-minute sessions. HigherDose PEMF infra-red mats during your session for added recovery and relaxation.

Door to our studio is on the left of the building; head downstairs and it’s your first left. Parking is located across the street.

I’ve been having a nagging pain in my lower back, hip area when lifting my leg or getting up from bed in the morning. Then I came across the LYMBR studio in Newton. After the first session I felt better, but after 2 more sessions the difference was amazing! I am looking forward to being pain free.

NEWTON STUDIO TEAM

Our team is comprised of genuinely gifted hands. Learn more about our amazing therapists.

Shannon

Studio Manager

Shannon became a stretch therapist to help promote a healthy way for others to stay active and injury-free. With a background in Kinesiology merged with her experience in the physical therapy field, Shannon strives to individualize treatments for each of her client’s needs.

She believes a good session at LYMBR starts with a full-body approach, taking into account the client’s history and how it may affect current movement patterns. Her goal is to give each client solutions that will last long term. In her free time, Shannon enjoys staying active with her Peloton bike mixing in some circuit and HIIT training. LYMBR Pre-Natal Certified.

Cory

Stretch Therapist

As a health & fitness enthusiast, Cory is convinced that stretching is an integral part of being physically active. LYMBR promotes this aspect of fitness that is often overlooked.

In order to stay fit and healthy Cory participates in resistance exercises. He enjoys doing calisthenics & banded exercises. One of Cory’s favorite LYMBR stretches is the pectoralis minor stretch. He really enjoys this stretch because it is a muscle that is hard to target on his own and leaves him feeling great!

When working with clients, he always aims to have them leave feeling 10x better, just like how he feels after his favorite stretch! Cory has a great touch for finding that perfect pressure for each individual muscle and is always checking in to make sure his clients are happy. Cory has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He also holds a CPR/AED certification. LYMBR Pre-Natal Certified.

Serena

Stretch Therapist

Serena became a LYMBR Stretch Therapist because she is passionate about helping others reach their goals to their highest potential. Her experience interning in a Physical Therapy setting for two years has helped her play a vital role in helping clients recover from injuries.

Incorporating the gym in her daily schedule is how she stays fit and healthy. Serena enjoys weightlifting as well as running, soccer, and yoga. The pectoral major/ minor is two of her favorite stretches because it relieves any tension in her upper body.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Pyschology from the University of Rhode Island. Along the way she has obtained her certification in Adult/ Child CPR AED. LYMBR Pre-Natal Certified.

Rick

Stretch Therapist

Rick was one of the first therapists and Academy instructors for LYMBR. As a Strength & Conditioning Specialist in the industry, Rick loves learning about all aspects of fitness and finding ways to integrate new techniques into his own training. He believes that through proper strengthening and LYMBRs hands-on modality, he can help people find a passion for healthy living without pain!

Rick received his Bachelors of science in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA and is a Licensed Emergency Medical Technician.

Rick loves training in his free time, constantly pushing himself to compete in strongman competitions. He also enjoys hiking, going to concerts, and spending time with his family and friends.

Kathy

Stretch Therapist

Kathy joined the LYMBR team to help people return to doing what they love. Her mission is to guide you on your journey to feeling and moving better, overcoming obstacles that hinder your fitness and movement goals. With three years of experience as a manual and stretch therapist, Kathy’s keen eye detects muscular and postural imbalances that lead to compensation patterns. She’s passionate about uncovering the root causes of injury or pain, providing effective treatments, and empowering clients with the knowledge and tools to prevent future occurrences.

In her free time, Kathy enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, exploring the city, and trying new food spots. Kathy holds a B.S. degree in Sports Medicine from Merrimack College and is a licensed massage therapist. She’s certified in Thai Yoga Massage (L1) and the Performance Stretch System, further expanding her skill set.

Marc

Stretch Therapist

Marc joined LYMBR because he believes stretching optimizes performance and improves flexibility. Working as a Stretch Therapist allows him to have a positive impact on the physical health of others.

He graduated from Framingham State University with a degree in Health and Wellness, and a minor in Biology. He has always been active throughout his whole life. He has a passion for fitness and sports and played both football and soccer in high school.

Marc loves weightlifting, running along the Charles River in Boston, and playing flag football. His favorite stretches are back flexion and overhead rotation flexion. These two stretches relieve so much tension on his back due to heavy run days and weightlifting.

Quang

Stretch Therapist

Quang believes that stretching is often neglected and is one of the many essential practices for overall health. He became a LYMBR stretch therapist to educate others about the importance of stretching and to promote a healthier and more positive lifestyle. His experiences in various fields, such as cardiac rehabilitation, physical therapy, and personal training, will enable him to make a significant difference in his clients’ lives.

Quang received his Master of Exercise and Health Science from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and his Bachelor of Exercise Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. He holds a CPR/AED certification as well.

In his free time, Quang enjoys playing spike ball and competing in tournaments. He also loves weightlifting, trying different cuisines, and spending time with his friends and family. His favorite stretches are back flexion and the gluteus maximus stretches. These areas of his body are very tight, and not only do these stretches help relieve tension, but they also feel great!

Peter

Stretch Therapist

Peter brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to his practice. With a background as a personal trainer, martial artist, and massage therapist, he understands the importance of optimizing performance and everyday activities with various therapeutic techniques, making him a great asset and an invaluable resource for everyone looking to enhance their abilities. Peter’s well-rounded approach to a healthy lifestyle is evident in his favorite ways to stay fit and healthy, which include weight training, martial arts, cycling, and hiking.

With a comprehensive background in massage therapy and injury rehabilitation and certification as a trainer through NASM, he also holds certifications in TRX training, RIP training, and KT tape, and is CPR/AED certified, ensuring the utmost safety and care during his sessions. Peter’s commitment to providing exceptional service during every session ensures that all sessions are tailored to the individual and their unique lifestyle.

Peter’s favorite Lymbr stretches are the glutes and IT band, both of which are crucial muscles for everyone’s daily movement. They often become tight and restricted due to long hours of sitting or standing. Peter finds these particular stretches not only improve flexibility but also make you feel rejuvenated.
