Cesar

Studio Manager, LYMBR Academy Instructor

Cesar has used LYMBR stretching to optimize the mind-body connection. He strives to highlight this concept through his sessions with clients. Working as a Stretch Therapist allows him to help others improve their mental and physical health. Cesar has found major relief with the bicep stretches in the shoulder protocol. LYMBR stretching has helped him address old sports injuries throughout his baseball career. He feels an instant relief of tension in his shoulders after these stretches – which is just the thing to keep him going strong!

Cesar holds a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology from CUNY Queens College. He enjoys sharing knowledge of the body with his clients and colleagues. Cesar has been promoted to a Therapist Instructor role in LYMBR Academy, teaching the stretching protocols to newly-hired therapists. He has also served as a mentor to these therapists, which benefits in the transition from the training program to working with clients.

Emanuel

Stretch Therapist

Emanuel comes from a diverse background of interest and education. He is passionate about sports and fitness and loves to create digital designs. His love for basketball sparked his interest in the health and wellness industry. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Wellness Management and minor in Graphic Design from SUNY Oswego. His experience as a personal trainer in college fueled his passion for helping others. He is currently obtaining his NASM-PT certification and is excited to create meaningful and impactful experiences for his clients at LYMBR.

Emanuel suffered a major knee injury in early 2022. His rehabilitation experience reminded him of the importance of stretching and taking care of your body. He saw that LYMBR was the perfect opportunity to network and help others achieve their wellness goals.

Emanuel enjoys all of the LYMBR stretches! His favorite stretch is the Pectoralis Minor stretch because it is a relaxing stretch for both the client and therapist. He believes each stretch is valuable and makes him appreciate the art of stretching.

Danny

Stretch Therapist

Danny is a native of the Upper East Side & East Hampton. He appreciates the balance between both the city and suburban lifestyles. Understanding the importance of stretching regularly and keeping your body loose, Danny joined LYMBR to help others feel the same.

In his youth, Danny was an all-star in Basketball and Baseball, and was a member of the USA 16U Basketball team which won the Gold Medal at the 2016 Pan Am Maccabi Games in Chile.  Danny is a certified PADI Open-Water diver, advanced skier, and an avid golfer. As an athlete, he  learned to appreciate the importance of maintaining a high level of fitness and of taking care of his body. Danny recognizes the importance of moving the body daily and implements that into his own life.

Danny graduated from Muhlenberg College where he received his bachelor’s degree in business with a concentration in management. He is also CPR certified.

Danny enjoys and recognizes the importance of all LYMBR stretches and really takes pride in making clients feel better than they did when they came in.

Sulaiman

Stretch Therapist

Sulaiman has worked with clients as a Certified Personal Trainer since October 2013. In addition to holding an ACE Personal Training Certification, Sulaiman is also a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, Performance Enhancement Specialist, Youth Exercise Specialist, and MMA Conditioning Specialist through the National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM).

What drew Sulaiman to LYMBR is the fact that it is a place that specializes in stretching! His love of learning and working with clients led him to join LYMBR and learn advanced stretching techniques to help people improve their flexibility and mobility. It’s critical to be flexible in order to perform well, improve circulation and improve overall health. His favorite stretch is the Subclavius stretch for the upper body and all hip stretches for the lower body.

When not working at LYMBR, Sulaiman’s favorite hobbies include traveling, meditation, and stunts. Fun fact: He has been skydiving 4 times and is looking to become a certified skydiver!

Maddie

Stretch Therapist

Maddie has been involved in several sports since she was young. This grew her passion to work within the health and wellness field to help others in continuing to do what they love. She feels that LYMBR offers a special way for people to prevent and recover from injuries.

Maddie has a Bachelor of Sports Science from Texas State University and is currently a student at New York University in the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. She has a Basic Life Support/CPR certification and is working towards a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification.

In her free time, you can find Maddie exploring NYC – trying to find new places to eat or watching the latest Marvel movies. Her favorite LYMBR stretch is the Pectoralis Minor stretch because she feels that it can really open up her posture.

Kevin

Stretch Therapist

A Williamsburg native, Kevin always had a natural inclination to the world of exercise and movement. Any and every sport was up for grabs, but eventually he claimed Handball (AKA Wallball) as his sport of choice. When it was time for college, this innate passion resurfaced and pushed him to get his Bachelors degree in Movement Science.

Shortly after college, Kevin spent 7 years working in physical therapy and rehab settings. He gained knowledge which he hopes to use to improve the quality of life of those around him. He’s learned to be malleable and developed an approach that prioritizes the needs of an individual. Going to the movies, traveling, exercising, playing video games, spending quality time with quality people, and creating content in the health and wellness space are all things Kevin enjoys in his spare time.

Melanie

Stretch Therapist

Born and raised in NYC, Melanie graduated from Lehman College with a Bachelors of Science in Exercise and Movement Science and is currently working on her Masters degree in Health Information Management.

She joined LYMBR because of her passion for helping and caring for others which sparked her love for the Health and Wellness field. Her appreciation of the long-term benefits of stretching had deepened as a stretch therapist at LYMBR. She believes that stretching is not only important for the body but also the mind.

Melanie enjoys all the stretches at LYMBR but her absolute favorite is the crescent series. It relieves her lower back pain that she sometimes has and leaves her feeling brand new.

Taylor

Stretch Therapist, Google Campus

Taylor is a dancer, and has always enjoyed learning about the body and different wellness modalities. She loves meeting new people and helping them increase their range of motion in stiff areas. Even as a dancer, some of the stretches we do at LYMBR were new to Taylor. Her favorite stretch is crescent flexion, as it releases low back pain that she often has.

Taylor stays fit by dancing and doing what she loves, as well as going on very long walks through nature. Taylor holds a BFA in Dance Performance from SUNY Purchase and is a certified personal trainer registered through NASM.

Rachel

Stretch Therapist, Google Campus

With a background in dance, Rachel has always been interested in modalities that support and heal the body. Becoming a stretch therapist at LYMBR has deepened her appreciation for the long-term benefits of stretching. She has experienced firsthand the impact of the LYMBR method and is thrilled to share this work with her clients!

She stays fit doing things that bring her joy: dancing, running, and taking long walks around the city. Her favorite LYMBR stretch is the Pec Minor Stretch. She says it feels like the embodiment of bliss. Rachel holds a BFA in Dance Performance from SUNY Purchase and is a Certified Personal Trainer registered with NASM.

Avery

Stretch Therapist, Google Campus

As a lifelong dancer, Avery has always felt the benefits of stretching. Her experience in the dance world has taught her the importance of maintaining muscular balance, correct posture, and how tending to tissue trauma is essential for growth of any kind. Avery believes in the LYMBR method for the end game. She knows that body restoration is crucial in ensuring a long life doing the things she loves most; dancing, biking, hiking, and walking her dog all over Brooklyn! She is eager to share her knowledge in stretch therapy and hopes to bring balance back to the active lifestyle of a New Yorker.

Avery’s favorite stretch at LYMBR is the trapezius stretch! She holds most of her tension in her shoulders and neck, so the trap stretch really helps to alleviate that pressure and leaves her feeling relaxed in both mind and body. Avery holds a BA in Dance Performance from Point Park University, is a NASM certified personal trainer, and is CPR/AED certified.
